Feile Rinci na Nollaig 2006

The Irish Dancing calendar in Scotland came to a close for 2006 with the Annual 'Feile Rinci na Nollaig' in Glasgow.
Competitions ran throughout the weekend with Saturday seeing the under 6 - under 12's completing their rounds and then under 13's to Senior running throughout Sunday.
The Highlight for all the little ones on Saturday was a visit from Santa, who gave all dancers, up to under 10 a gift, as well as a few words in their ears regarding his 'Big Day' on 25th Dec'. Feis Organiser, Owen McAuley, should be congratulated on his generousity as no dancer was dissappointed and the delight on their faces was a treat as they walked away with their specially wrapped present from the Big Man himself.........all to the tune of 'Jingle Bells' being played in the background offcourse!

It was soon time to get down to the dancing again with some amazing performances from all the dancers. The music was as always 'fantastic' with Majella & Gerry playing the finest, reels, jigs, hornpipes etc
