Sinead's Photo Gallery

I think it would be fair to say that Sinead Malone has the World at her feet at the moment, but, her Mum Linda says it hasn't always been that way.

Linda explains - At the age of 4 and still at Nursery School, Sinead went along to the Caroline Greene School of Irish Dancing in Glasgow with her sister Leila and fairly soon Sinead tried her best to copy her sister and was attempting her 'jump 2,3's and hop for 7's.

Sinead was one of those kids who would regularly refuse to dance at a feis, but with a little persuasion from her sister, she soon got into the swing of it and moved quickly through her grades and moved into the Open section, winning her first Open Championship at U6 level. At this age Sinead also won her very first Scottish Qualifying Title..

Over the years Sinead has continued her winning ways adding many more titles to her name.

The last 18 months has been an amazing time for Sinead as she is now a regular placed podium dancer at all the Major Dancing Championships around the World. Last year at the World Irish Dancing Championship in Ennis, County Clare in Southern Ireland, Sinead placed 5th in the girls U11 section and was delighted as it was her very first year competing at this prestigious event.. This year, in Belfast at the Worlds, Sinead moved up 1 place taking the 4th podium spot. In addition to these major achievements, Sinead has also taken 2nd place at the Great Britains, British Nationals and All Scotlands in 2005.

Sinead is looking forward to returning to all the Majors in 2006 and has been working extremely hard in preparation for all the up and coming competitions.

Good Luck Sinead, you certainly have made your parents, teacher, school and friends very proud of you.

Not a lot of people know this...but...Sinead not only performs on an Irish Dancing Stage, she also is a budding singer/actress.

In April this year, Sinead took the leading role in "Calamity Jane" at her school show.
